Welsh Book of the Month

So thrilled that the Welsh Book Council has chosen The Story of Climate change as March Book of the Month! We’re delighted that it is being published in Welsh – with added backmatter on climate change initiatives in Wales from the Welsh Government. Here are just some of the highlights of a greener Wales:

On 29 April 2019 The Welsh Government became the first government in the world to announce a climate crisis in its parliament.
In 2011 Wales became the first country in the United Kingdom to ban shops from giving away free plastic bags.
Wales is one of the best countries for recycling. It is one of the top five in the world. By 2050, there will be no waste in Wales, according to the Government's plan.
In 2008 Wales became a Fair Trade Nation - the first in the world.
