Science teacher Steve Williams (pictured) is co-author of our Story of Series – and without whom I may never have got started as a children’s author. So #ThrowbackThursday seems like a good opportunity to remember and appreciate this! We were both frustrated by the lack of science story books – as distinct from text books – about evolution for younger readers and decided to ‘write the book’ ourselves. Neither of us had ever written a book before. It worked. The Story of Life has now sold over 65,000 copies in many languages and The Story of Climate Change is the fifth in this lovely series. Hurray!
