Despite the Pandemic I have been visiting schools – in classrooms and online. It’s a part of being a children’s author that I love – answering quirky questions and seeing enthusiasm spread and eyes widen. Having a nonfiction picture book author in school seems to be a bit of novelty and one I’m happy to embrace. I’ve met fabulous librarians, enthusiastic teachers and curious children…My paperbacks (more affordable in schools) now include Red Alert: 15 Animals fighting to Survive, The Story of Life, The Sea Swallow and the Humpback Whale; and Eco Warrior and space pocket manuals. Here are a few memories from this academic year.
